Damian is a distinguished cybersecurity and information warfare expert with over 30 years of leadership experience across the Department of Defense, the U.S. Navy, and the Defense Contracting Industry.  A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a Master’s in Science from MIT Sloan, he has led large-scale cyber defense initiatives, architected multi-billion-dollar cybersecurity campaigns, and built operational capabilities that have shaped modern cyber warfare.  His extensive background includes Executive Leadership roles in Navy Cyber Defense Operations, strategic positions at the Pentagon, and principal advisory roles in both government and industry.

Previously at Gryphon Technologies, Damian served as the Cyber Intelligence Staff Principal, advising on all aspects of cyber warfare and security operations.  He supported key commands including Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), and U.S. Navy Fleet Cyber Command/U.S. 10th Fleet (FLTCYBERCOM/C10F), ensuring that cybersecurity policies, doctrine, and training were aligned with combat-readiness requirements.  His leadership strengthened corporate-government partnerships and expanded Gryphon’s cyber portfolio, contributing to successful joint ventures and positioning the company for future growth in defensive cyber operations.

Previously, at Raytheon, Damian led initiatives that produced billions in new business opportunities by integrating military-grade cybersecurity into national infrastructure protection efforts.  As a core member of the Chief of Naval Operations’ Task Force Cyber Awakening (TFCA), he helped define the Navy’s long-term cybersecurity posture, including the creation of the CYBERSAFE program.  Widely respected for his operational vision and trusted by both his Teams and Senior Leaders, Damian brings unmatched expertise in cyber strategy, organizational leadership, and national security innovation.
